Importance of Measurements: How and What to Measure

Thursday, February 22, 2024 09:45 - 10:15

The session will look at measurement in lymphoedema/lipoedema, especially limb volume measurement. It will consider how these measurements are important, ways to take these measurements and then what information they provide. The session will demonstrate an easy to use tool which can help us interpret these results to allow effective tracking of the journey of someone living with lymphoedema or lipoedema as well as allow accurate reporting of outcomes from management. The session will also discuss how measurements can help with diagnosis and assist in auditing our services to be able to report on our caseloads.
