Marie Gabe-Walters is a National Research and Innovation Lymphoedema Specialist. Marie joined the Lymphoedema Wales Clinical Network (LWCN) in 2020 having previously worked on various nurse-led research projects exploring medication monitoring in outpatients and care homes. Working within LWCN, Marie has supported the development of the Lymphoedema-Specific Patient Reported Outcome Measure (LYMPROM©) and the Cellulitis-Specific Patient Reported Outcome Measure (CELLUPROM©), along with Patient Reported Experience Measures (PREMs). She is also supporting work to embed PROMs and PREMs as part of the Value-Based Healthcare initiative for lymphoedema services in Wales. Since 2020, LWCN has worked with the Welsh Value in Health Centre and Digital Health and Care Wales to implement a digital PROM platform.
